Edenred reach finals in this year’s Card and Payment Awards

Edenred’s work in delivering the Free School Meal Voucher Scheme through the 2020 lockdowns has been recognised in a prestigious industry scheme.

The judges for Card and Payments Awards have shortlisted the scheme in two categories.

The Changing Lives in the Community award, recognises projects that have made a demonstratable difference to broader society.  The Best Initiative in Digital Payments recognises innovation in the use of an electronic payment method

Edenred’s is shortlisted in both categories with some of most recognised and innovative brands in the card and payment industry.

Andy Philpott, sales and marketing director at Edenred, said:

“Delivering the Free School Voucher Scheme in lockdown was a formidable challenge for the business.

We are pleased that the hard work from individuals and teams across the business who deployed our Select platform to successfully put food on the table for families in lockdown has gained this recognition.”

The ceremony will be held in London in February 2022.
