Gold award for Free School Meal Voucher Scheme

Edenred’s work in delivering the Free School Meal Voucher Scheme for the Department of Education has won with a gold award from the Institute for Promotional Marketing.

The award recognised the organisation which excelled in its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Edenred was responsible for setting up and running the scheme which ensured families were able to put food on the table as schools closed as part of the nationwide lockdown.

The scheme used the Select platform to deliver a weekly £15 eGift voucher for each eligible child, redeemable across the network of participating supermarkets.

The judges at the IPM awards said that among the high calibre campaigns which showed massive social, health and commercial impact, Edenred stood out for its impressive results on a mammoth scale against almost impossible timescales.
