Edenred clients win AGPO award for payroll giving scheme

uploaded on 8 August 2023

Edenred is proud to announce that 52 clients have received awards from the Association of Payroll Giving Organisations (APGO) for their payroll giving schemes.

Award recipients include a wide cross section of Edenred’s public and private sector clients. Our public sector winning clients deliver a wide range of services from Local and Central Government to front line services, education, and arms-length bodies. Winners in the private sector also cover a range of industries and services from energy and travel to tourism.

Three clients achieved the gold award – The Disclosure and Barring services, NS&I, Radioactive Waste Management Ltd. A further 11 clients met the criteria for silver award and 38 the bronze award.

The government-supported accreditation Payroll Giving Quality mark celebrates organisations of all sizes for making Payroll Giving available to their employees. The scheme provides employees with a tax efficient and easy way to donate to a charity of their choice from their salary.

Edenred supports payroll giving for clients as an employee benefit through its Employee Benefit platform. A digital platform that makes the scheme easy for employees to use and for HR to administer and report usage.

Reflecting on the awards, Edenred Sales Director, Colin Hodgson said.

“Payroll giving is a simple tax efficient scheme that empowers employees to make regular donations to support the charities that are close to their hearts. Payroll Giving schemes are so important to the charitable sector, delivering real social value.  The effects of the cost-of-living crisis means that demand on our third sector has never been so high, so it really is pleasing to see so many of our clients being recognised for the engagement of their employees and the positive impact their donations are having across society.”
