E.ON powers up its employee benefits

Edenred client E.ON has been shortlisted for two awards for a new employee benefits scheme that supports it’s green and inclusive agenda.

As a leading provider of sustainable energy in the UK, E.ON wanted to better align employee benefits and employee experience with its business strategy.

With Edenred’s help, the company refreshed and relaunched its benefits scheme to focus on sustainable, personalised and flexible benefits.  Every colleague, across all business areas now has the opportunity to access benefits that best suit their needs at any point in the year.

The refresh also included a clearer focus on benefits that support employee financial and physical wellbeing

After launch, 83% of E.ONs 8,500 people engaged with the benefit portal across both field and office based workers. This is particularly impressive since the majority of employees are remote workers.

To drive its green an inclusive agenda, benefits such as EV car lease that were previously restricted by grade are now open to lower pay bands.

Winners of the Personnel Today Awards are due to be announced in November and the HR Excellence awards in December.
