Our Work around the World

The Edenred Group believes that our business should contribute to the social and economic growth of the countries, regions and cities where we work, and enhance the value of their wealth, heritage and culture.

Since 2002 we have included a “dashboard” in our Annual Report showing various indicators and the progress made during the year, plus our Group targets for responsibility to shareholders, clients, employees, suppliers, the environment and local communities.

Each department of the Edenred Group is responsible for improving and implementing our sustainable development work.

Our Policies

People: improve quality of life

Edenred aims to be an employer of choice, to promote well-being through healthy eating and to contribute to local development.

Planet: preserve the environment

Edenred seeks to preserve the environment by reducing its carbon footprint and its consumption of resources and waste, by designing eco-friendly services and by managing the impact of its solutions.

Progress: create value responsibly

Edenred is committed to developing its activities and partnerships in an ethical manner across its entire value chain. The Group guarantees IT security and data protection, while meeting the expectations of its clients and users and involving them in its shift-to-digital.

This policy is rolled out at an international level, notably with events such as Idealday or the  Edenraid sports challenge.

The Group's corporate social responsibility policy was built through a global materiality study involving both internal and external interviews. This study made it possible to identify and prioritize Edenred's issues according to their relevance and their impact on the company's performance.

Seven major issues were identified:

  • IT security and data privacy
  • business ethics
  • energy and climate change
  • responsible payment digitalization
  • client satisfaction
  • talent management
  • sustainable and healthy food promotion

In recognition of its commitment, Edenred is included in the three most well-known ethical stock market indices, namely the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (since 2013), the FTSE4Good (since 2011) and the Vigeo Eiris 120 most advanced companies in Europe and the Eurozone in terms of CSR (since 2018).

As a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact initiative, Edenred is also committed to promoting its core values with respect for human rights, labor regulations and good environmental practices.
