Accor Services launches Payroll Giving

Accor Services has launched a Payroll Giving scheme allowing all employees to donate to any UK registered charity by a direct deduction from their salary – making charitable giving a simple, efficient and flexible process.

All donations given in this way are tax efficient – so the charity receives the donation and the tax the employee would have paid on this amount. And as an act of generosity and acknowledgement of its commitment to CSR, Accor Services has pledged to match every employee’s charity donation(s). It will also cover the monthly cost of all administration charges in the handling of charity payments.

Patrick Langlois, managing director at Accor Services comments: "We are very excited about the Payroll Giving scheme. It is an easy and convenient way for employees to donate to charity and gives them confidence that their chosen charity deservedly receives the tax contribution as well. We believe our CSR strategy should be owned and influenced by our employees and the Payroll Giving scheme entirely supports this principle by providing our employees with choice."

Accor Services offers Payroll Giving through AccorFlex, which is a solution provided by Motivano.

Online Eyecare voucher ordering goes live

Accor Services Eyecare Vouchers can now be ordered and paid for online.

The updated system is a big leap forward in streamlining Accor Services Eyecare voucher processes and it gives clients all the freedom and convenience associated with managing an account online.

From the comfort of their own desks, clients can go online and order vouchers, pay via credit card, instantly print off invoices, edit delivery address details to suit multiple site distributions, amend and view account details, and view old orders and check the progress of existing ones.

This effectively means a significant reduction in time spent on ordering vouchers and instant access to the account as and when it suits the client.

Andrew Adams, Eyecare voucher sales manager at Accor Services comments: "We are constantly looking at ways to make life easier for our clients and to improve the speed and efficiency of our services. This online facility is a great way for our clients to gain more access to their account, be in greater control and save time."
