Accor Services awarded ISO 14001Accor Services has been awarded with the prestigious ISO 14001 accreditation, recognising the company’s efforts to reduce their environmental footprint and decrease their pollution and waste. “A vast amount of hard work has been undertaken since May 2009 to achieve this high standard and we are delighted to be awarded with this recognition, especially because it covers our three offices in the UK. As part of our global corporate social responsibility strategy and commitment, we pride ourselves on being a responsible, dedicated organisation that gives back to our local communities, as well as one that sets out, follows and believes in a demanding set of business and environmental ethics,” explains Patrick Langlois, managing director of Accor Services UK. “We have a number of CSR programmes currently underway and are constantly supporting and improving our efforts to reduce the organisation’s carbon footprint, recycle more efficiently, improve energy efficiency and source suppliers with sustainable ways of working. Achieving the ISO 14001 standard proves our commitment to this strategy and is another step towards fully meeting our CSR commitment," he says. Accor Services’ CSR strategy and activities are owned and driven by its employees. Over the last few years employees have been involved with activities ranging from payroll giving and recycling through to participation in regular community events. Accor Services is ‘one to watch’Accor Services UK is officially ‘one to watch’ according to the Best Companies Accreditation 2010. “This prestigious endorsement means the business has been recognised by its employees for demonstrating high levels of employee engagement and is amongst just 363 organisations that achieved this status in 2010,” says Patrick Langlois, managing director of Accor Services UK. Helpdesk callers getting happier!The Helpdesk Service Satisfaction Research conducted by Accor Services confirms callers to the childcare voucher Helpdesk team are increasingly satisfied with the level and quality of service they receive. Assessing the satisfaction across a range of key service indicators, the research findings give a strong endorsement on the quality of service provided by the Helpdesk Team. “On all aspects assessed – whether it’s the time taken to get through to an advisor, the general attitude and helpfulness of the adviser, the quality of information and advice provided, or the ability of advisors to resolve the issue raised – levels of caller satisfaction have continued to be extremely high over the last six months,” says Alwyn Lisk, Accor Services head of customer services. “We are committed to ongoing investment in our products and support services to ensure that our customers – whether employers, childcare voucher users or voucher redeemers – receive the highest standards of care and service. We want to continue making a positive difference to people’s working lives and want to maintain our position as market leaders when it comes to innovation and excellence,” says Andy Philpott, marketing director at Accor Services. |
