Edenred is launching a new version of its market-leading Compliments® reward card in October which will improve security and make the card easier to use.
A new Chip and PIN feature will boost card security as recipients will be prompted for a PIN number at check out, rather than the traditional signature, which is more susceptible to forgery. Chip and PIN is the standard authentication process for the high street.
In addition, the Mastercard® logo will now appear on the reverse, meaning greater in-store acceptance due to their globally recognised brand identity. Redemption will be faster, safer and easier throughout the Compliments® retail network which features over 110 national retailers including John Lewis, Selfridges, Debenhams and House of Fraser.
At the same time, Edenred has overhauled the way clients choose branding and personalisation. Clients now have the choice of four new off-the-shelf cards designs which can also be overprinted with the client’s logo, saving on costs and simplifying the production process.
